Lots of women decide to have breast surgery to achieve beautiful and volumptous breast.

However, because of too much greed, or lack of consideration, lots of people fail and go through re-operation.

 

 

So, let us check about reasons.

There are some reasons for re-operation.  

First, damage of implant.
In the begining of breast surgery, they used to use liquid silicon or saline solution.
So, the content of implant came out, and their shapes easily changed.

 

 

 

However, the implant we use currently, which is called Cohesive gel doesn’t get damaged well. Even if it is crumpled, it tends to keep the shape and doesn’t absorb inside body.

The second reason for re-operation is side effect.

Capsular contracture which is the one of the common side effects is caused by inflammation, hematoma, foreign material, shortage of massage after surgery, constitution and etc.

To prevent re-operation, thorough tests before surgery should be done, and detailed managements have to be followed to reduce the chance of re-operation.

 

 

 

The third reason for re-operation is about size and shape.

In case that they have breast surgery with inappropriate size or the upper side of breast projects out, they can consider re-operation later on.

 

To prevent re-operation by unsatisfaction, enough consultation to expect and design ideal shape and size should be discussed.

 

 

 

Normally, time for re-operation is available after 6 months to a year since breast tissue and shape need time to settle down. Sometimes, there are some cases which need re-operation sooner, thus if you find any problem after breast surgery, you would better come and visit hospital as soon as possible.
